  • 1 lb beef steak thinly sliced
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 1 cup mixed vegetables corn, peas, bell peppers
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoons black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • Optional: green onions and sesame seeds for garnish

  • Mixing bowls

Method
 

  1. Gather and prepare all ingredients before starting.
  2. Preheat the hot plate or cast iron skillet over medium-high heat for about 5 minutes.
  3. Add 1 tablespoon butter to the hot plate and sauté mixed vegetables for 2-3 minutes until slightly tender.
  4. Push the vegetables to the side, add the remaining butter if needed, then place the sliced beef on the hot plate and sear for 2-3 minutes until browned.
  5. Sprinkle black pepper and minced garlic over the beef and vegetables, stirring for 1 minute to combine flavors.
  6. Add the cooked rice to the mixture and stir for 1-2 minutes to heat through and allow the rice to absorb the flavors.
  7. Drizzle soy sauce evenly over the mixture and stir for 1 minute until well distributed.
  8. Transfer the hot mixture to serving plates and garnish with green onions and sesame seeds. Serve immediately.
