Brownies

1/3 c. margarine
1 square unsweetened chocolate
1 c. sugar
¾ flour, softed
½ tsp. salt
½ tsp. baking powder
2 eggs
1 c. nuts, chopped
1 tsp. vanilla
½ c. chocolate chips
Confectioner’s sugar

Melt margarine and chocolate in saucepan. Remove from flame and stir in sugar. Sift together flour, salt and baking powder and add to chocolate in mixture. Beat in eggs. Stir in nuts, chips and vanilla. Pour into 9 x 9 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Dust powdered sugar when cool.
