Chicken in Shoyu Sauce Dip
This recipe may seem like another shoyu chicken recipe but if you look closely it is really a fried chicken recipe with two types of shoyu dipping sauces. To be considered shoyu chicken, the chicken must first be marinated in the shoyu sauce then cooked either with or without the marinade. But to some that still does not matter and as far as they are concerned this is in fact a shoyu chicken recipe. Anyway Chicken in Shoyu Sauce Dip is a great pupu/appetizer and breeze to make.

Candlelight Wings
Candlelight Wings are essentially shoyu chicken wings. How they ever came up with the name is beyond me. Regardless of the name, Candlelight Wings taste good and are easy to make. When you think about it, that is all that really matters.

Tofu Poke
Tofu Poke is perfect for those in your family who don’t or won’t eat raw fish. It is also a great way to make bland tofu interesting to eat. We also like this recipe because it is way cheaper than having to buy fresh ahi or aku. Make sure to use firm tofu for this recipe. Yakidofu or Japanese grilled tofu can also be substituted for firm tofu.

Ono Chicken Wings
This is a very great tasting and can’t miss pupu dish. Just remember you are going to need about 1 hour 45 minutes from start to finish so plan ahead. This recipe also works good with chicken drummettes.
Ono Chicken Wings
4 lbs. chicken wings
¾ c. shoyu
¾ c. sugar
¾ c. water
3 Tbsp. mirin
4” piece of ginger, crushed
4 cloves garlic crushed
Combine all ingredients in a large pot, and cook on high until mixture come to a boil. Then lower temperature to medium and simmer for 1-1 ½ hours until chicken is tender.
Barbecued Chicken Thighs
We agree it is probably easier to just buy a huge bottle of barbecue sauce from Sam’s or Costco, pour it all over your chicken, then cook it up. However by doing the recipe you will have the satisfaction of knowing that you can actually cook something and are not some cooking baby always reliant on the bottle (of barbecue sauce). This recipe is dedicated to those that refuse to use barbecue sauce out of a bottle or plastic jug. For those of you too busy to care stick to the store bought stuff.

Ham & Chicken Rolls
If you went by name alone, Ham and Chicken Rolls definitely sounds like an American Dish but the five spice powder and spring rolls wrappers are a dead giveaway that this easy to make appetizer is anything but Chinese or Asian. Because the recipe does not sound exotic, it won’t scare off the kids and is your opportunity to get them to eat something different for a change. Besides who does not like ham and chicken?
Ranch Wings
Who doesn’t like Ranch Dressing and chicken wings/drummettes? Therefore the combination of the two is only natural and simply good eating. Just remember to make enough for everybody.

Spicy Tuna Recipe
![yellowfin-tuna[1] yellowfin-tuna[1]](http://recipepapa.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/yellowfin-tuna1.gif)
Whoever created Spicy Tuna was a genius. It was probably some sushi chef wanting to make use of sub par sushi grade tuna. Just ask yourself this question. If you had sushi grade tuna would you cover it up with Japanese mayo and chili sauce? I don’t think so. Anyway Spicy Tuna is great eating and who cares if it is not made with top grade tuna.
